Early potty training is the best parenting thing I did. It makes me happy, my baby happy and both of our lives easier. I first saw the idea called “elimination communication” on pinterest while I was pregnant and I thought it sounded great and something I wanted to try. Basically, it’s observing when your baby needs to go to the bathroom and then putting them on the toilet so they go on the toilet. This worked the first time I tried within 2 minutes and my baby has done this ever since! We started when she was 7.5 months old and I have gone months without changing a poopy diaper! It is the best thing ever. For both of us. I don’t have to clean the mess and she doesn’t have diaper rash or the unpleasantness of sitting in her mess. It has revolutionized my life so much that I want to advocate to all parents to try it! Sure, there have been accidents and sometimes it doesn’t work but any less amount of poo diaper changes is a win to me!
I saw this adorable idea from Studio DIY and was so excited about it that I decided to make them in March! I’m all set for Christmas now thanks to the fun blog that explains how to DIY these. The directions and pattern were very easy to follow and surprisingly, these pillows were pretty easy to make.
This is great for adults, picky toddlers, and everyone!
6 cup loosely packed super greens
1 cup frozen mango
1 cup frozen pineaspple
2 cups coconut water
1 cup water
Blend for roughly two minutes, starting on low and ending on high. Enjoy!
Vitamix blender works best at blending the small green pieces so they aren’t noticeable.

I see a lot of cute cookies on instagram and thought I’d try making my own. I found this chocolate sugar cookie recipe from sweetapolita.com I made them with royal icing and am pretty happy with how they turned out. The cookie recipe is perfect and it was easy to cut shapes out of the dough and they cooked perfectly. My first few attempts at “painting” the cookies didn’t go so well but I’m happy with my final product.
